Today I photographed in the dog shelter in Veliki Preslav – a place that carries a special energy. There every dog waits for its person, and their eyes are full of hope and love. The atmosphere is touching, because you feel how much a helping hand means to them.
While I was photographing, I felt those strong and emotional moments that cannot be forgotten – joyful looks, curious snouts, trust that is built with every minute. This is only the beginning of a larger project that aims to show that goodness always finds a way when people unite around a cause.
The photos we took will turn into charity calendars. They will not be just beautiful pages, but a symbol of support. All proceeds from them will go towards purchasing food, medical care and improving the conditions in the shelter. In this way every calendar will bring real change for the animals.
