Photos with a Noble Mission

A Shumen-based photographer has joined Anna Yoncheva’s project, “Different Children of Bulgaria.” Last March, she created a social media page where she shares the stories of children with disabilities.

Radio Shumen reminds us that her idea was born when she and her daughter met a child in a wheelchair at the playground, and some of the other children refused to play with him in order to “not get infected.”

Anna Yoncheva’s idea is now supported by photographers from different parts of the country. For the past few days, a Shumen photographer has also been part of the project. This is Nadya Kaneva. She is 33 years old, a mother of two children without disabilities, and has been a photographer for 4 years.

She shared with Rositsa Arabadzhieva why she joined the project “Different Children of Bulgaria.”

He is only a few days old, but he already possesses that magic which makes the world fall silent. With his innocence and serenity, this little human became a true star and graced the cover of “Kangaroo” Magazine.
